The accompanying paper was brought here yesterday by M^r Stilwell ^<2> – It is to enable Mamma ^<3> to recover a certain sum from the Assurance Office ^<4>, & to effect this, it is necessary it should be filled up in the proper manner – The whole of the first part as you perceive, must be written & signed by M^r Cutler ^<5> – but the latter part must have M^r Paley’s ^<6> signature – Pray therefore see that he puts it, with the date &c – & bring it back when you come, or send it by Wright ^<7> if he returns first, that it may be sent to M^r Cutler –
