My dear Henry

I cannot help writing to you to beg again that you will take care the grave <1> is not made too far to the right, so as to be at all in the damp – which I well remember is the case on that side of the church – Everything was ready last night, & they were to leave Richmond early this morning – I suppose Ld V– <2> will not be at Laycock Abbey till Friday morning, from his letter today – but he has no doubt written to you. – Mamma <3> slept rather better last night – & though very far from well, is improved on the whole – She is very good, & takes all the draughts Mr Tapper sends her –

Ever yrs affly
Caroline
