Hotel Bellevue
3rd March 1866
My dear Henry
You are bien méchant <1> not to answer any of my letters. I hope you are coming soon. – This bad weather will not last – & is a good thing now, as they were in such great want of rain; & after this we shall probably have summer weather – I wish you would give some signe de vie, <2> & tell me when to order your room. You can never have sucha good opportunity of meeting us abroad – all of us – & in a part of the world you like so much – & near so many other beautiful spots. Katie <3> has never seen you yet – & wants so much to make your acquaintance. You must be “<illegible> foŭl,” if this appeal cannot move you to action – Evan Mr Boger <4> is coming here for a lark! Now do please
Yr affte Sister
Caroline
