Caroline Auguste Feilding

Be so kind, Dear Henry, as to buy print of Burley House, that is sold at Stamford, to send to Elbelle.

Have you walked to the hermitage in the woods? Tell me everything that you have done, since you left us.

Elbelle went to spend Christmas at her sister's.

I would like to know if there are as many Rabbits as there were last year. I do believe you have a lovely time watching the stars from the top of the house each night. I am happy to tell you that my earache is much better.

Mama has promised us Christmas present for next year.

We are much obliged to you for the trouble you have taken in sending all that Latin to us and we hope to know it perfectly by the time you return.

I am always your very affectionate and good little Sister
Caroline Auguste Fielding
