My Dear Henry

Your Uncle J. <1> called yesterday soon after you were gone, and I told him how sorry I was that Mr Berens <2> was absent from Oxford upon which he went in search of him & did more for you than you did for yourself for he found him – & Mr Berens called here afterwards to know your direction so that I presume you heard from him by yesterday’s post. as you cannot I conclude be allowed to do anything at alma mater of a Sunday you had better come up Saturday Evg & pass it with us.
