My Dear Henry

I have given the nine copies to Rodwell, <1> & directed the others (with my own hand) which W[r]ight <2> took in a cab to the Binder. Upon looking over the List I think it would be adviseable [sic] to have 20 more at least finished by next week, they will be required.

The Duke of Bedford <3> and others from the County have sent in their adhesion but there is no hurry about them. I am very busy as you may suppose

1. These were the first copies of WHFT's Sun Pictures in Scotland, being sold by subscription. They were distributed by John Rodwell, bookseller, 46 New Bond Street, London.

2. James Wright, footman to the Talbots & Constable for Lacock.

3. Francis Russell, 7th Duke of Bedford (1788–1861), statesman.
