I came in to wish you good by [sic], but behold the bird was flown. I wanted to remind you that I shall want some of No 5 <1> - as well as the others, to take into Norfolk. Pray be very cautious with those Railroad Sharks. Give me a petit mot <2> now & then - I shall want to know how the affair is going on
