My dear Henry
Papa <1> is going on much the same Mr Cutler <2> said yesterday his pulse was better & the leg too, but he seems very low, more perhaps than when he was worse, as he now feels the ennui of lying there day & night –
Pray tell me how Henry <3> is going on & how he looks if you have seen him – Mama <4> begs if you go to Llanelay <5> or anywhere else you will charge Constance <6> to send on to you any letters that may arrive with the Richmond postmark, as we shall not know where to direct
Mr Moore <7> came to se us today & lunched here –
What sad accounts of Stavordale <8> it is too dreadful to think of
Yr affte sister
