Mr Montgomerie <1> will be at Laycock Thursday night & hopes you can give him a bed. I am afraid he has put himself to great inconvenience to shew a last token of respect & gratitude. Lord V. <2> thinks of not being there till Friday morning not wishing to lose the pleasant impression left on his mind of the time he passed at the Abbey last winter
