My dear Henry

I wish you could buy one of the Annuals for me to give Caroline <1> for her Birthday – I will leave the choice of the prettiest to you I think I should like the Literary Souvenir <2> They are all to be had at Smith’s 192 Strand – & I dare say at all those sorts of shops.

I have not been out once – the weather is so cold & bad, & have not yet seen my Aunt & my cousins – We are going to Bowood<3> tomorrow to spend Christmas Day. – Mary Fox<4> is coming there Friday. – Addio caro <5>

Your affte sister
Hora

P.S. Upon second thoughts I wish you could get me instead of the other Apollo’s Gift or the Musical Souvenir for 1830 – to be had at Cramer’s 201 Regent Street or Chappell 135 New Bond Street – Papa <6> says we can send the carriage for you all the same, if you will only write word which coach you come by & whether by Chippenham <7> or Melksham
