My family had such agreeable recollections of their séjour in Scotland two years ago ^<1> that I have complied with their wish to spend the present winter in Edinburgh where I hope to meet you –

I shall follow the rest of my party about the 20^th of this month – we shall be at our old house N^o 4 Atholl Crescent –
