My dear Henry
Thank you for writing to me so kindly I hope some day you will come & see me in my own house, believe me it will give me very great pleasure to see you there. I hope I may have an opportunity of introducing your new cousin before I could not make up my mind to tell you when you were here, but I wrote to you afterwards & my letter was returned to the franker, the day before yesterday from the Post Office Barmouth, “not called for” – if you had received it you would have had my early intimation of my intentions, though as a profound secret. Pray thank Aunt Lily <1> for her kind letter I certainly will take the first opportunity of paying my respects in my new character Give my love to C & H <2> & believe me dear Henry your most affecte Cousin
