We have received your Letters <1> of 18 & 27 ultimo & in consequence of the explanations which you give us in regard to the Box of Books left by you in the Porto Franco we have succeeded in discovering it & have shipt it off to London by the Brig Viscount Exmouth as you will perceive by the bill of Lading enclosed

Trusting that you will not be much inconvenienced by the delay which has occurred in the transmission of this Package, we remain always
