Sir,

I very much regret having had to delay two posts in answering your former letter which is in consequence of M^r Marshalls ^<1> absence from Leeds when I wrote to him He now writes to say that he has communication with you direct offering you the house ^<2> for 9 weeks for £75 or 3 months for £90. I have therefore nothing further to say in the matter until I hear from you, when, if you accede to these terms I will if necessary draw up a short agreement I presume it will be understood if you use the horse & phaeton you pay for its keep.
