Dear Sir

I was fortunate enough to get the Chippenham <1> Bill up to the Lords with the others on Tuesday Evening –

I am very much in hopes that the purchase Money for Mrs Thackerays <2> property is by this time actually paid to Messrs Drummonds to your Account as Trustee of Mr & Mrs Thackerays Settlemt <3>

It will therefore only remain to ascertain the Amount of the expences [sic], which shall be done as soon as possible, & have the balance invested in the Funds.

I am Dear Sir Your most ob Servt
J R Hayward
