Respected Sir,
Some time ago, I used the freedom to write to inform you that the Electro-Magnetic Engine, was completed and I did hope that you would have condescended to appoint a day when you would be pleased to Witness its [sic] performance
Mr Henry M Noad of Rose Cottage Road Nr Bath (Author of Lectures on Electricity &c)<1> has written to know if I had any novelties in Electro-Magnetism to send an account of them that he would give them a place in his forth-coming work he (Mr N) requested a description of the ElectroMagnetic Engine above referred to this of course I could not do without your permission, or till you have seen the Machine It works well and, possesses considerable power
Your kindly condescending to answer this will be considered a favour by Respected Sir Your Very Obet Servt
W. T. Henley
H. F. Talbot Esqre
