Dear Sir,
I have received the specimens of your new process <1> – of etching the Photographic image formed by the Bichromate of Potash – on Steel plates
They are exceedingly delicate and beautiful – and even in its present state – the process appears applicable to many very important purposes – I cannot but think there are many other preparations, which may be employed after your method – sufficiently sensitive to obtain Camera pictures. I venture to hope I may shortly see specimens of this class from your hands. Many thanks for your kind attention
I am Dear Sir Yours faithfully
Robert Hunt
Hy Fox Talbot Esqr
