Stansfeld Mill
November 30th 1835.
Sir,
About 3 weeks ago I wrote to you, saying that I wished to have some more families from your Parish & also giving some account of the family of baines <sic> – since then I have not been favored with any communication from Lacock.
I should be glad to be informed as soon as possible when it is probable I may expect one or more families, I could do with two just now & another to follow in a fortnight – as in case of ye rest being likely to supply ye wants, (which are now becoming urgent) from Lacock I shall forthwith apply to Mr Muggeridge the Poor Law Commrs Agent in Manchester who will procure the families from other districts. The baines go on comfortably & express themselves quite satisfied. The father & 4 Boys are <illegible deletion> now earning 3 2 6/. pr week –
I am sir
