Veranda.
March 28
1847.

Dear Sir,

I sent the P.O order to you, because I was not sure where to find Henneman. <1>

My coloured specimens have gone to London to be mounted, after which I have desired that they shd be sent to Mansfield street.

The prices which I consider them well worth are £1. for large views, £2. for large double do. 10s for the half size. (of which Nos 26 and 27 are specimens,) and 6s each for the quarter size. I could not possibly take less; especially for the first or original copies; as they require a great deal of trouble, and more than that, much artistical knowledge and tact.

I find that I can improve continually in the treatment of them, and think that they are capable and worthy of much art being expended on them, particularly if we cd do them of a larger size.

Enclosed is a list, which had better be kept, and I hope that they will be carefully kept clear.

I have written to ask Henneman to have a few simple fold beadings with glass made to shew them in, when he gets the size of the mounting boards and beg that when they are shewn they may have the glass over them, as the effect is much better.

I am sorry that you have not yet concluded with the Parish authorities, and am extremely anxious to hear how you have got on with your accelerating process as I am very desirous of trying it: I shall begin some double and treble views as soon as the sun comes, which I daily hope

Yours very truly
Calvert R. Jones.
