Sir
I beg to acknowledge Your letter of 15th and am indeed sorry that you should have come to the determination you have as I cannot for the life of me see how any party can grumble under the circumstances of my receiving your Photographic pictures on such terms as I get them, If you choose it I shall be happy to send back those I don’t keep by the first steamer after they are received but to let others choose for me I cannot do such, should you send them on a Saturday and arrive on a Thursday I will forward them cost free on the Wednesday and I don’t think anything can be fairer than this. The orders I have received for the houses of Gentlemen in Scotland are very Considerable and I shall guarantee you the Call of eighty pounds worth of subjects in Scotland and I have no doubt but it shall encrease very much if you can send early with regard to this I should like a definite answer as I should wish to communicate to the different subscribers what your intentions are,
If you will send me a lot on receipt of this I should naturally return those I dont want I have at present several parties waiting for them, You have said nothing about the assistant I gave you notice of
Your most Obt
