I am glad you are continuing your researches on the theory of numbers. I have seen <illegible> Balfour, <1> and find the paper can be placed amongst those to be read on the <21st?> inst

I am sorry to find from Sir Dd Brewster <2> that you cannot be present at the Meeting of that day <or?> at the Graduation. Shall I take charge of the paper? With kind regards
