Sir

I am happy to be able to inform you that altho’ your Son is not quite well, yet there is nothing serious amiss with him. He is suffering from Indigestion and Nervous debility caused I have no doubt by his growing – perhaps too rapidly & being naturally of a rather tall and slender form. I have made to day a very careful examination of his Lungs &c and find them perfectly normal and I have no doubt with some little attention to his diet and exercise he will soon be convalescent. He is going to travel with Mr Headlam (who appears to be exceedingly kind and attentive to him) for a few weeks which will no doubt be of great benefit to him. Any further, or at any time you may wish for information about his health I shall have much pleasure in acceding to your request.

I have the honor to be Sir Your Obd Sert
Geo. Kemp.

H. F. Talbot Esq
