My dear Mr Talbot

It is very kind of you to wish to know where Henry <1> is to be found. When he goes to Town he will do himself the pleasure of calling on you, but for the present he is here with us, & is shortly going to Oxford to keep his last term. He & his Father & Sister <2> had a prosperous passage & arrived here 10 days ago – Since that Mr Seymer has been obliged to run up to Town on business, but I hope he may be able to join us here tomorrow. Change of scene has been of service to our poor Harriet’s spirits, & we find her quite as well as we could expect. She & her children will I hope go back to Hanford <3> with us for great part of the summer. We had heard of Lady Theresa’s <4> having the measles & are very glad to find she has had them so favorably – I had little doubt of her being admired & still less doubt of her being liked, for she appears to be a most amiable & delightful girl – The I. of Wight is looking in high beauty & this immediate spot is delightful, one of the very prettiest I think in the neighbourhood.

Believe me Yours sincerely
Harriet Ker Se[yme]<5>
