Dear Sir
I have received her Majesty’s Commands to make some Talbotype Copies, of some Daguerreotypes I executed some time since – I submitted them to your Agent or Licensee, Mr Henneman, who however refuses to undertake them for me, until he has referred the matter to you – I do not understand the nature of his agreement with you, but should feel obliged by your informing me, on what terms I may be permitted to execute them myself, should they he still persist in refusing all orders, but such as come direct from Her Majesty –
Henry Fox Talbot Esq
