Ernest Lacan présente ses respectueux compliments et ses regrets à Monsieur Talbot. Il est tous les jours de <illegible> à 2h Place de l’hôtel de ville et de 3 à 4 l’avenue <illegible> au Champ de Mars à la Commission d’Encouragement pour les études des ouvriers. <1> Mais si Monsieur Talbot voulait lui fixer un rendez-vous il serait heureux de s’y rendre.

Ernest Lacan presents his respectful compliments and his regrets to Mr Talbot. He is to be found every day of <illegible> at 2 o’clock at the Place de l’hôtel de ville and from 3 to 4 at avenue <illegible> at Commission for the Encouragement of the study of workmen on the Champ de Mars. However, should Mr Talbot wish to suggest a time for an appointment, he would be happy to attend.
