May 24.

My dear Sir,

I have this morning called on Mr J. Calcott [sic] Horsley, a nephew of Sir A Calcott [sic],<1> who has taken a very great interest in your process and will be quite willing to assist in the arrangement of some out of door tableaux. He is for the next ten days incessantly occupied with his Fresco.<2> having Mr Horsley would meet you on Sunday at my house No 2 Hanover Terrace either at dinner at 7 oclock [sic], or at 2 o’clock on the same day if more convenient to you, when he would be happy to confer with you on the matter. He names Sunday, it being the only day he does not devote to his painting. I enclose you his address, as it will save time if you would address a line to him stating the hour it may be most convenient to you to meet him.

I have the specimens at my house, with which Mr Horsley is delighted.

My dear Sir, faithfully yours
Thomas Longman

Fox Talbot Esq
Sackville St.

I have some etching & engravings well adapted, I believe, to your purpose.
