Dear Mr Talbot,

Horatia <1> writes word that she wishes my Aunt <2> to keep her banker’s book to be made up, so will you return it by the bearer, and please to give the enclosed key to Horatia. My Aunt wishes to know by bearer, if you think the 14th the earliest day it can be: if you think the 10th is impossible, and if you have heard any thing to day from the lawyers. she begs you will write her a line directly as many arrangements depend upon the knowledge of this fact. If there is anything near she hopes you will not go till the Express.
