Wednesday morng
Dear Sir
I have just received your second note <1> & I will act upon it for the future respecting the rectory; trusting, however, that you will make one exception in favour of the periodical meetings of the religious societies connected with our own church, respecting which I am not aware that there has even been any difference of opinion in the Committee or the parish, & at some of which meetings viz the Propagation of the Gospel society’s of which both Sir John & Mr Sotheron <2> have alluded & spoken
If you are opposed to the exception perhaps you will kindly let me know
I am Dear Sir very faithfully yrs
