Corsham House <1>
Janry 1830
My Dear Sir
I was very sorry not to have an opportunity of thanking you for the very pretty sport you gave me., before I went home yesterday.
It strikes me you do not like shooting with many guns; and I write this to say, though I hope to see you according to Capn Feilding <2> engagement with the party on Friday Week, that if you will come over here some other day I will go out with you without any other gun which I assure you I think much the pleasantest way of shooting and shall be most happy on doing my best to give you more amusement.
If you can come what say you to Saturday next or Tuesday? Either day is the same to me and I hope you will give us the pleasure of your company after the fatigues of the day.
Beleive [sic] me My Dear Sir vy truly yours
Paul Methuen
