My Dear Sir,
I beg to inform you that I have resigned my professional Business to Mr Locke Solr in this place, the Son of Mr Wadham Locke of Rowde Ford, and who has been appointed by Mr Methuen <2> to hold his Courts and Conduct his Business in this Neighbourhood.
I feel very deeply indebted to you for the Confidence you have been so kind as to repose in me, and shall be further obliged by your allowing Mr Locke to transact your Business, in which I shall be happy at all times to give any Advice or Direction that may be necessary, and to render to yourself the best service in my power
