Sir,

In reply to your enquiries respecting the cuneiform characters, if you will have the kindness to forward the paper in question we doubt not but it will be found by you to be correct, – what we have not got in type we can get cut in wood, which we find necessary occasionally, and this we apprehend will be the case with the second line of your specimen which we now return.

If there is no more than your specimen there will be no difficulty.
