My dear Talbot,
I think it probable I may be summoned up to London to consider what we shall have to do by & bye. But as long as I can I mean to enjoy my children & my holidays here – I shall write to you the moment I move.
Your account of Brougham’s progress <1> is very entertaining – Would, that he had never to contributed to break any thing but a Cordon Sanitaire. <2>
