In my capacity as Joint-Editor of the Polytechnic Journal, with Dr Irving the Patent taken out by you in December 1841 for “Improvements in Coating and curing Metal with other Metals &c” has been brought under my immediate notice, – and it has appeared to me that it may be applied to more extensive and important uses. –
