Markeaton <1>
Sat. Oct. 13th
Dear Mr Talbot
We are at home, & shall be happy to see you any day that may best suit you to come. You will find William & Harriot <2> with us, busily occupied house hunting, in which pursuit they are out for the day, – They speak with pleasure of their visit at Lacock, but with regret of having missed you both there & here, & will I am sure be delighted to hear you purpose to spare us a few days on your return from your tour.
The very fine weather is all past, but with us it is still warm & we yet live in hopes of a few more beautiful Autumnal days. –
Accept our united kind regards & believe me
Yours very truly
S. Mundy
