1. James, Rajah of Sarawak (1803-1868) born James Brooke, British diplomat and adventurer. The book was probably Henry Keppel's The Expedition to Borneo of H.M.S. Dido for the Supression of Piracy: with Extracts from the Journal of James Brooke, Esq., of Sarawak (now Agent for the British Government in Borneo), second edition (London: Chapman and Hall, 1846).
