My dear Sir

I regret, that circumstances have prevented me returning on Earlier answer to your last favor. I assure you, I am quite as far removed from any angry feeling arising out of the late Election, as you can be, and I am certain, I can offer the same assurance on the part of Captain Boldero. <1> I beg to reciprocate your wish that we should be better acquainted, and I shall be happy to avail myself of every opportunity for that purpose.

I am, my dear Sir,
truly yours

Jos Neeld

Notes:

1. Col Henry George Boldero (d. 1873), Conservative politician; sat for Chippenham in 1831 and from 1835 until his resignation in 1859.
