My dear Cousin Henry
Aunt Charlotte has been so ill with a sharp attack of Bronchitis that I am come here to look after her. We have been much alarmed about her – but I am thankful to say she is much better & she desires me to thank you for your letter & the seeds.
If you have the same weather as we have here, you will I think find it too hot as you go south – I hope Mrs Talbot is stronger than when I heard last do you mean to bring her & my cousins home with you?
My mother is not very well she has worried herself about Lucy who has been more than usually ailing this winter & has not been out of her room for some weeks.
Yrs affly
