My dear Henry
Will you give me you [sic] advice about Books for Botanical purposes to take with us to Nice – We propose sojourning there till Lucy <2> is able to enjoy a further Tour therefore some Italian Flora wd be best – Any hints wd be so very very agreeable particularly as to localities excursions &c, &c, &c, &c,
We intend bringing home dried plants & live ones in short to make a perfect trading voyage. Health is the grand object but I hope sincerely that will be speedily gained –
Love to Mrs Talbot <3> &c
Believe me yours very afly
Jane H. Nicholl
