Dear Sir,

I am much obliged for your letter of the 17th I regard the settlement of 1685 as affording valuable evidence in our favor & do not regard the little in accuracy in the Bishops discription <sic> as of any moment

It might< may> be accounted for in various ways even if there was any question of the Bishops identity

The <?> must but be hard put to it, indeed if they are going to fight this myth again –

I thank you much for sending the document which I expect to receive through Mr Awdry.

Sir Robert (No LXXI) never was owner of the Worfield property. There was a Robert of Worfield.

I am Dear Sir

Yr very faithful St

Richd: Nicholson

H Fox Talbot Esq
