Sir Harris Nicolas presents his Compliments to Mr Fox Talbot, and begs leave to offer him his best thanks for his flattering kindness in sending him a copy of his "English Etymologies"
Sir Harris Nicolas had already read the work, it having been lent to him by a friend: and he was so much impressed with the learning, research, and ingenuity which it displays, that its acquisition, more especially in so gratifying a manner, is particularly valuable to him; and he must again beg of Mr Fox Talbot to accept of his sincere thanks.
