Dear Sir,
I have not had a moment to reply to your note <1> till now. Our next meeting is on the 21st instant, when I shall have much pleasure in presenting your sealed packet to the meeting of Council. I will then lock it up in our strong box, of which I keep the key. I shall be much pleased to compare the versions, when Rawlinson’s <2> is published, and I have not the smallest doubt of their agreement in all essential particulars.
