My dear Sir
I have just received from the printer three clean sheets of my dictionary. I do not know why he has sent three now, for I expect three more will be completed very soon. I only write to know if you are still in Edinburgh, that I may forward them to you.
In one of the recent sheets of Assurbanipal from Smith, I find the word <cuneiform> muttabbiltu which he renders “music” p 226. This will come into the next sheet of my book, I remember hearing from you, or seeing a word from <Schrader?> signifying “musical instruments,” which I should like to bring <in,?> if any analogy could be found, and I should be much obliged to you if you could tell me what it is. I think I must have seen it in one of the numbers of your Glossary
Your vy faithfully
Edwin Norris
