My dear Sir,
I am much obliged to you for the Glossary which reached me yesterday. I have some observations to make, one of which is my conversion to the meaning of [cuneiform] newly, which I had been inclined to make a verb, (I founded) or else “strongly” or “from the foundation”; just in time to get it into a note on the word ussis, “I founded.”
I am summoned by my family for an excursion in this fine weather which will account for my more than usual shaky writing; my semi paralysis increases, and I am haunted with the idea of a complete stoppage to my dictionary
Yours very faithfully
Edwin Norris
