Dear Sir
I believe of Bellino’s Sennacharib cylinder at beginning to be like of E I H. i.18. of the Senkirch cylinder i.2. of the Babylonian Cyl. i.11. Also of Taylors Sennacharib i.32 to be the same as both . Mudninnú of course the participle of . I might find more examples but I am very busy over some long German State papers that will not allow me to look at Assyrian for some days.– I don’t think the above afford ‘a proof,’ we can only expect probability, and probabilities accumulate and become proofs. Certainly is not . I do not think is known either as to reading or version, but tenisit I am satisfied means mankind. I do not think kalati ever occurs, but am of opinion that it always forms part of following word. But I am not sure.
Please excuse this brief scrawl.
Yours faithfully
Edwin Norris
