Trinity College – Cambridge
Dec 29 1836
My dear Talbot
After reading & commenting upon the paper which you put into my hands at Bristol <1> I gave it to the Secretary of the section either Forbes or Harris: <2> of this I am quite certain: of course therefore it is quite out of the question that I should forward it to Phillips: <3> the best thing will be for you to send a short abstract to him
I have just returned to Cambridge having been snow bound for some time; this will account for the delay in my answer to you
I trust I meet you at the R.S <4> on the 12th of January?
Believe me
My dear Talbot
Most truly yours
G W Peacock
H. F. Talbot Esq
Sidmouth
