Eccoci un’altra lettera da Genova. Ella sarà probabilmente dalla rispettabile di Lei famiglia di cui sentirò volentieri le nuove come altre volte si è degnata di favorirmi. Spero però questa volta che saranno unite al tanto desiderato piacere di rivederla. Mi lusinga che domani avrò una sua lettera e che sentirò che finalmente viene anche a Londra. Al tre dell’entrante s’apre il Parlamento, quindi il Nobile Pari dovrà esserci e così la di lei venuta non sarà procrastinata. Io studio la lingua giorno e notte e benché molto difficile traduco abbastanza bene però parlo con difficoltà. Ciò verrà in seguito. Spero che V.S. starà benone come il desidera. Mi continui la sua grazia e mi creda

Here is another letter from Genoa. It will probably be from your respected family whose news I should gladly hear as you have favoured me on other occasions. I hope however that this time they shall be accompanied by the much desired pleasure of seeing you again. I hope that I shall receive a letter from you tomorrow and that I shall at last hear that you are coming to London. On the third of the coming Parliament opens, therefore the Noble Peer will have to be there and thus your arrival shall not be postponed. I study the language day and night and although it is difficult I translate quite well but I speak with difficulty. This will come with time. I hope that Your Lordship is most well as is to be desired. Continue to offer me your grace and believe me
