Dear Mlle Amélina

I enclose <1> a letter which is probably from your nephew – Many thanks for Carolines <2> letter which is extremely interesting

I hope the old woman of 94 <3> will recover but if she does it will be very extraordinary.

Today was very rainy. The hall is swimming, at least the part next the windows. The thermometer 53 almost temperate.
