Dear Sir

I am sorry to find from Mr Taylor <1> that the only notice I could find of a communication which you made to the York Meeting of the British Association <2> is unfaithful & not to be adopted.

If you have leisure to write a short account of your observations I shall be most anxious to see it inserted in our Volume, which on this occasion contains so much that is interesting in Photography.

Ev. Yours truly
John Phillips
