Dear Sir

I regret to find that I have not yet answered your last letter, which arose from its having been put into my hand just as I was leaving Cheltenham – You misunderstood me in supposing that my assistant was with me at Cheltenham, he resides at Reading – At present he is full of engagements, but if you would like him to come to Middle Hill towards the latter part of this month, I think he could do so
