Dear Sir.

Excuse the delay in answering your note, but I waited until I could say I had sent the Sample bits to Melksham – of late I we have made only Forge iron – which we cannot cut – this week we shall make some Foundry & some pieces shall then be sent to the Kings Arms at Melksham for you & of which you shall get notice, when they go –
